Ongoing guidance, by phone
We all experience marital problems now and then. For those who cannot work things out together but still want to save the marriage, we offer one-on-one guidance by phone.
Some marital problems are resolved by a couple themselves, something to be grateful for. If a couple cannot work things out together, they can turn to those close to them for mediation; seeking counsel towards reconciliation is an Islamic principle. For both partners there are Islamic guidelines to follow, so that a healthy decision can be reached. If the problem persists after that, a separation sometimes follows, or people seek professional help as one of the last resorts.
Ideally a couple seeks help together from a trusted relationship coach. Yet it happens that one partner does want to start a process with a professional and the other does not. That refusal keeps the dispute alive. That is why we now also offer one-on-one relationship coaching, for those who want to work things out themselves.
Every person is unique, and so is every marriage. We bring our experience, knowledge and skill to offer ongoing one-on-one help and advice by phone, so that a marriage can be saved. Sometimes this builds the trust to go into relationship therapy together after all. In this way we hope to help the community, strengthen it and reduce harm.

Hisaab first offers a free phone intake to hear your story, so that we can tell you whether we can help. If you then want to start a one-on-one process, you choose from three packages:
Free intake
1 phone conversation (30 minutes) per month
2 phone conversations (30 minutes each) per month
3 phone conversations (30 minutes each) per month
Any conversations left unused from previous months do not carry over to the next month. Online payment is not yet available. After the intake we arrange payment by email.

We are also open to donors who wish to pay for a process for those close to them, or who wish to support the organization so that those less fortunate who need help but cannot afford it can still be supported by Hisaab.
